Office News

Hello,
We hope you've been able to cool off after that heat wave we had last month.  We also hope it's been a fun and safe summer for you and your family.  We're happy to bring you our August newsletter, which you can feel free to forward to any friends, family, and people you work with.
TEETH-- CHEWING SPECIALISTS, our first article is about habits that can damage your teeth.
HEALING TEETH is a wonderful story about how our bodies work to repair damage.  So when you add in some flossing and brushing, it's a formula for success.
BROWN SPOTS highlight our final article.  Some people took medications that made their teeth yellow, gray, or brown.  Happily they don't have to live with this.  Eliminating the discolorations will make a person smile more and project a new and improved image.
Forward our free newsletter to your friends, family, and people you work with.  They'll thank you for it.
We look forward to seeing you in our office soon and wish you and your family a great August,
Dr. Fier
PS--Ignoring a dental problem or postponing treatment only makes matters worse.  Treatment will become more involved and end up costing more.  Don't let this happen to you.

Between 1950 and 1980, a powerful antibiotic called tetracycline was commonly prescribed to control respiratory infections. Many pregnant women took this antibiotic, and so did young children. During the time a baby's teeth are forming before and after birth, the teeth are vulnerable to some outside agents. Unfortunately, no one knew that at the time.
